Evaluation and Assessment

The Office of Medical Education is the central point for assessment and evaluation activities for the School of Medicine curriculum. These activities include:

  • Design and implementation of assessment tools to regularly evaluate the medical school curriculum, including student feedback on courses and clerkships
  • Implementation of course and clinical rotation reviews, providing data for ongoing quality improvement initiatives
  • Development and evaluation of Standardized Patient examinations conducted through the Clinical Education Lab (CEEL)
  • Management of the web based E Value assessment system used for student, faculty and site evaluations
