The Office of Medical Education supports the education mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine as follows:
- Providing curricular oversight, facilitating and implementing curricular change
- Supporting students and faculty in all aspects of the educational process, including academic development and multimedia support
- Designing and managing computer-based curricular programs
- Conducting research and evaluation of instructional techniques, learning issues and curricular programs
- Providing professional photography and graphics services for the University community
